In 1780s, ‘Nisantasi’ was a rural area with typical country coffee shops, large vegetable and strawberry gardens. With the foundation of first Ottoman Army, this area became more popular. The army started settling in the area for artillery range. After the Sultan’s palace was moved to ‘DolmabahCe’, district's destiny started to change. Members of the dynasty and important state officials started moving to huge mansions and pavilions in this neighborhood. This started the development of ‘Nisantasi’ as a popular residential area, which still is the case after decades. Today, Niisantasi is Turkey’s leading shopping district with many stores of Turkish and International fashion brands. When you want to take a break from shopping, the area is full of many trendy cafés. At night, Nisantasi is packed with people who are in search of a delicious taste of specialty restaurants and fun at the famous bars. Mim Hotel went through a major renovation in 2002 Mim Hotel has 250 beds in 112 rooms located on 8 floors. We have 16 connecting rooms (great for families with children), 7 non-smoking and 3 business rooms (with study desks and Internet hook-ups). All our rooms went through a major renovation in 2002. With its friendly staff and experience in meeting planning, Mim Hotel is a favorite with major local and international corporations. Our client base including major players in automotive, finance, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and other industries is growing each day. In addition to its 5 meeting rooms in various sizes, Mimar Sinan, El Mariachi and Da Vinci may also be utilized to accommodate many events like meetings and private parties. Special dinner, lunch and coffee break menus are planned for each organization and updated frequently by our experienced staff. Various equipment and supplies are stocked in-house and presented to our guests with the help of our technical staff. Additional equipment that we don’t stock in-house (like computer projectors) may be supplied from professional equipment leasing companies.
